Dental Benefit

Original Medicare does not offer a routine dental benefit. But, for 2023, all Peoples Health Medicare Advantage plans include coverage for routine dental services, including oral exams and cleanings, X-rays, and comprehensive care, such as fillings and dentures.
All Peoples Health plans include a dental benefit provided by UnitedHealthcare Dental. This benefit includes:
- $0 copay for covered dental, including cleanings, fluoride, fillings, crowns, root canals, extractions, dentures and implants up to the plan’s annual maximum when using network providers*
- No annual deductible
- Medicare Advantage’s largest national dental network
- Freedom to see any dentist who accepts Medicare
Preventive and diagnostic dental coverage includes:
- Dental exams
- X-rays
- Routine cleanings
- Fluoride
- Fillings
- Deep cleanings
- Crowns and bridges
- Extractions
- Root canals
- Dentures
- Anesthesia
- Dental implants
All Peoples Health plans offer both in-network and out-of-network dental coverage, although services received out-of-network may have a higher member cost.
Finding a Dentist
Peoples Health plan members have access to the UnitedHealthcare Dental network.
For assistance finding a provider, please use the dental provider search tool at UHCMedicareDentistSearch.com. Select *National Medicare Advantage Network from the Select a Network drop-down menu, then input other search criteria, as desired.
